The wasps enter and exit the hole in the side of the house?

I live in an apartment basement. Yesterday I found a wasp dead on the floor next to my bed I thought maybe just flew in from the open door or upstairs window so that I was not too worried. Then, about an hour later, a HUGE wasp just flew side walls of my room! I told my landlord immediately and he informed me that the wasps had a hole in the side of the house. I went outside to see and he was right, there were dozens wasps flying in and out. My landlord has used a product called "Wasp and hornet foam Wilson" on the hole yesterday. I slept at home my parents last night and did not see any inside when I got home this morning, but I always saw wasps entering and leaving the outer hole. My landlord says he will use the product again tonight. I'm just really scared. Has this happened to someone else? Is my landlord did the right thing? It is a brick wall. Please help-I am terrified of wasps!

The foam does not reach the majority of wasps, they could be there deep enough that the wasps come into contact with chemicals they transmit to others. This could take several days. Seal the hole can work, but they may have other inputs and outputs. Wasps are not aggressive unless provoked if you give them one, they will leave you alone. Relax Land Lord let your face.
